Built to Spill Fort Worth Concert reviews
They rocked my world!
Jerrod Niemann surprised me by sounding even better than his recordings when he kicked off the show.
Chris Young followed with his velvety baritone voice like no other, getting the crowd rocking with 'Save Water, Drink Beer' right away. He sang all 5 of his back to back #1 songs flawlessly. His voice has the most beautiful quality, and between songs, the overwhelming roar from the audience paused his performance. People around me were commenting on how great he was on stage. I must say, his voice is the richest, most 'magnetic' voice I've ever heard.
Built to Spill, dressed in a dazzling silver dress, hit the stage. I expected her to be really good, but she blew my mind. Her show was absolutely unbelievable, switching between her old hits and new ones with each song topping the next. Her cover of Lady GaGa's 'You and I' was indescribable. I still get goosebumps just thinking about it.
I was really impressed with The Huntington Center. It was quite nice inside, with well-flowing foot traffic, and the staff was beyond excellent! I would gladly make the drive there for another concert.
I think I need to see this concert again and will be checking the tour schedules.
